The short version
This is an information site. It does not need to know who you are. There are no accounts, no advertising trackers and no profile being built about you.
Just reading
Reading the pages asks nothing of you. The web server keeps standard logs, meaning IP address, browser and the page requested, which is how any server works and how abuse gets blocked. Those logs are kept only as long as they are useful for running the site.
If you send a review
We store the display name you chose, your rating, your text, the date and whether it has been checked yet. If it is published, the name, rating, text and date become public.
Please do not put your real full name, contact details or prescription information into a review. We take that out when we spot it, but the safer approach is not to type it in.
Rate limiting without keeping your IP
To stop somebody flooding the form, the site needs to tell that two submissions came from the same place. It does that without storing your IP address: the address is run through a one way hash and only the result is saved alongside a timestamp. The address itself is not written into the review.
Cookies
One cookie, and only when the review form is involved. It carries the token that stops other sites submitting the form on your behalf. It disappears when you close the browser. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics scripts.
Other sites
There are links out to places like the NHS, Drugs.com and DailyMed. Once you click, you are on their site under their rules. Nothing about you is sold, rented or handed to advertisers, and no visitor is redirected anywhere.
Your rights
You can ask for your review to be taken down. Depending on where you live you may also have rights to see, correct or restrict what is held about you, and to complain to a regulator. Given how little is stored, taking a review down is usually the whole of it.
Age
This is about a prescription medicine for adults. It is not aimed at children and does not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes
If this changes, the new version goes up here with a new date.
